Death is not the end.
It is the thread.
A federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit church in El Paso providing spiritual care, grief support, community outreach, and education for everyone moving along the thread.
Community served, year over year
Death is what connects us, not what ends us
The same shape says both things: a molecule is bonds connecting points into a web. Science draws our faith.
Every living thing shares one certainty, and that certainty is the thread running through all of it. To accept death is not to dwell on endings — it is to feel how completely we belong to one another.
One thread, three tongues
The same connector, named in the languages of those who gather on the border. And in old myth, DMT is also the molecule of the threshold — the breath the body is said to release as it returns to the whole. We hold that as sacred metaphor.
The web speaks in patterns
We work numbers as practice — symbols charged with meaning, markers that reorder the one who walks the path through grief and back into life.
The Gate
Awakening. The first awareness of the thread — the crack of light grief so often opens.
The Weaver
Craft. Will, intention, and rite — learning to work the threads of meaning yourself.
The Ancestors
Grounding. The dead who hold the web with us, offering protection and company.
Completion
Return. The cycle closing so another can open. Death as wholeness.
How your donation helps

Devotion to Santa Muerte
If death is the thread, Santa Muerte is the one who holds it for everyone equally — the saint who turns no one away. Her scales weigh every soul the same. On the El Paso border, hers is the faith of the overlooked.
